Best British Female Solo Artist and Best British Single, for Parachute has been the two issues for nominations and singer is hoping to win them.

Other nominees include Tinie Tempah, who snagged four nominations, and Katy Perry, Kylie Minogue, Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Robyn who are all nominated for International Female Solo Artist.

The BRIT Awards 2011 will take place at London’s O2 Arena on February 15 and will be hosted by British actor James Corden.

In a question where she asked that who she admires,Cheryl replied that she thinks Megan is “beautiful” and he admits this fact to OK! Magazine.

A confirmed tattoo fan – with five other known inkings on her hand, right upper thigh, back, left side of her bottom and ‘Mrs C’ on her neck – the sprawling design across her lower back was exposed as she stepped out of her car.

Cheryl Cole has gone straight to Number One in the UK albums chart tonight (November 7) with ‘Messy Little Raindrops’.

It is the second time the Girls Aloud singer and X Factor judge has hit the top spot with a solo album after her debut LP ’3 Words’ went to Number One last year.

However, she was denied a UK chart double by Rihanna, whose latest track ‘Only Girl (In The World)’ replaced Cole’s Promise at Number One in the singles chart.

Rihanna has now scored a Number One in each of the last four years after hitting the top spot with ‘Umbrella’ (2007), ‘Take A Bow’ (2008) and ‘Run This Town’ (2009), according to the Official Charts Company.
There were four new entries in the albums chart top 10, including Bon Jovi at Number 2 with ‘Greatest Hits’ and Rumer’s ‘Seasons Of My Soul’ at Number 3.

In the singles chart, Alexis Jordan went in at Number 3 with ‘Happiness, while The Saturdays featuring Flo Rida moved up to Number 10 with ‘Higher’.

In the song, Cheryl talks about slashing someone’s tyres, burning suits, knocking back apologies, blocking calls and selling all her diamonds, reports contactmusic .

The track starts with the lyrics: “I cried when I heard you were cheatin’, I cried when I said I was leavin’, I cried when my heart stopped believin’, but I’m all out of tears”, but then goes on to say that the tears were ‘happy tears’.

‘Messy Little Raindrops’ is due for a Nov 1 release.

It is finally confirmed, although not officially, that Nicole Scherzinger and Cheryl Cole would be the judges of American “The X Factor”.

Simon Cowell quit “American Idol” earlier this year to develop the new version of singing competition show and he reportedly had wanted Scherzinger and Cole from the beginning to accompany him on the judging table.

Now Piers Morgan who judges “Britain’s Got Talent” with Cowell has let slip of the final decision, saying “He’ll love a couple of feisty brunettes fighting over him.” However, Deadline’s source said it is too early to confirm the casting because Cole is not mentioned in the talks and Scherzinger has only impressed the production company so far. “There’s been lots of interest from lots of people,” the source said.

Cole in particular has a lot of experience in the area for she is judge to the U.K. version. Scherzinger in the meantime has subbed for Cole when she was struck with malaria last month. The Pussycat Doll made herself notable when standing up against Cowell, but not offending him. “Simon’s great,” she said. “Even though he’s such a phenomenon, he called me personally – that’s the sort of guy he is. He was like: ‘If we ever need to bring you back for anything I’ll send my jet’. He is a nice guy at heart.”

Revealing her thought of Cole being made a judge on the American version, Scherzinger shared to Daily Star, “I know she’s very popular in the UK and Simon really values her. If Simon chooses to bring Cheryl to the US as a judge I’m sure she and her music will do really well there.” Cole is indeed signed to will.i.am’s record label and is on the verge to launch her career Stateside.

“If Cheryl gets a judge’s spot on US X Factor she will become known in every household in the States. I’m sure it’ll be the No 1 show on TV, so if she’s part of that she can go really far,” Scherzinger continued without talking about herself.

Cheryl Cole has moved on and is all set to waltz off into the LA sunset with her own personal tiny dancer Derek Hough.

So why hasn’t she banned her quick-footed love rat ex Ashley from visiting her £3.5 million Surrey home?

Now’s learnt that the footballer’s still being given free rein at their Surrey mansion and can drop in any time as Cheryl, 27, isn’t bothered about changing the locks.

Ashley, 29, even bumped into Cheryl‘s mum Joan a couple weeks ago on an unannounced visit.

‘He pops back to that house whenever he likes,’ says a friend.

‘He still has the keys and gets in through a hidden entrance at the back.

‘He’s always there, which is a bit strange for a couple going through a divorce.

‘The other day he was there sorting out some gym equipment and he bumped into Joan.

‘He was worried she’d lay into him, but she was surprisingly civil.

‘Ashley‘s in no rush to pick up all his stuff. While Cheryl‘s been in LA, he hasn’t been calling to let her know he’s dropping in and he probably won’t when she’s back.’
